At Perio J, we take pride in offering open access research articles to our readers. Our system of publishing utilizes a free, open source publishing management software called Open Journal Systems (OJS). Open Journal Systems was developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), a multi-university initiative that develops free, open source software and conducts research aimed at enhancing the quality of scholarly publishing. Some of the development partners upon which the PKP relies include: Ontario Council of University Libraries, Simon Fraser University, Stanford University, University of Alberta, The University of British Columbia, and University Library System of the University of Pittsburgh.
